I was back in New York City at Grand
Central Gallery. When standing with the director of my art
gallery, Jim Cox, he referred to this painting as “Sylvia's Lunch”.
Not having a title as yet, I quietly excepted accepted, their
interaction. Although it had been a miscommunication on both
our parts.
This is a very exotic, sensual still life with crimson
warm colors rap around all areas of this painting. The basket
represents the eternal round of romantic representations. The
cloth back ground is adorned with flowers that are warm sensual
colors adds to the
sensuality
of this painted still
life.
The ivy intertwining between the fruit and the basket is a strong
sensual foundation as with the tree branches in other paintings.
The fruit themselves serve as a sexual locomotion with their exotic
patterns and a repeat of the eternal round. The black represents
intrigue, and exemplifies mysterious romantic secrets.
When someone has the desire to study the lure there is a message
to uncover. |
